Those are not freely licensed images. If you can find an image licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or something compatible with it, then that would be a possibility, but we can't just go grabbing images off the Web. They have to have an appropriate license. SeraphimbladeTalk to me07:30, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also, I'd note that there already are two properly licensed photos of Aguilera in the article where she is not performing: this one, and this one. But of course since Aguilera is notable as a singer, it stands to reason that most of the article's images would depict her singing. SeraphimbladeTalk to me07:33, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Why would we remove the "Voice of a Generation" title? This is sourced + many artists have their "Honorific nicknames in popular music" titles mentioned in their lead paragraphs. Also the "Disney Legend" is very fitting to be in the first paragraph considering she has done a lot of work for Disney (Reflection for both Mulan movies, Disney family singalong, Loyal Brave True, etc.)
Additionally, your revised version has a lot of grammatical errors including spelling and wording. "After gaining more control over her career, Aguilera sought a departure from her teen idol image and released" sounds more WP:TONE and neutral than "Aguilera then evolved away from her teen idol image". Also, the Reflection recording and RCA signing works better in one sentence considering she was signed in the same week of its release. I'm a bit confused you haven't made any changes or rewritten anything. You have either just replaced words like "Aguilera" with "Zhe" (also sp.), or removed content for no apparent reason. What major changes do you want to see to the lead and why? Maxwell King12332104:39, 6 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I propose that the Cultural Status section be split into a separate page called Cultural impact of Christina Aguilera. The content of the section is only marginally related to the main article, and this section is large and well-sourced enough to make its own page. The page itself is getting a lot longer as well so I definitely feel that we would benefit from this. Would also be pretty easy to move some of the achievement section to the page as well to lessen the weight of this page. Thoughts from anyone? Maxwell King12332122:26, 20 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I looked at the reference for that and I see that the source is actually already there, it is in number 27 under references.
27. "Goldstein, Rob (May 15, 1999). "Dreaming of Genie". Yahoo! Music. Archived from the original on April 1, 2007. Retrieved April 30, 2023."
If you visit that website link that is in number 27, the info is on there and can be found easily. This is the specific sentence where it says quoted: "The New Mickey Mouse Club featured other aspiring young stars like Britney Spears, Justin and JC from 'N Sync, and Felicity's Keri Russell". JC from 'N Sync is JC Chasez.
